Led by myself, an experienced kilt maker and tutor, with a deep passion for heritage kilt making.
My course will provide you with step-by-step video training and guidance on how to sew your very own hand stitched masterpiece.
From understanding the significance of mastering the intricate techniques of, the stitches, pleating, canvas placement and finishes touches, I will be there to support you through your journey.
My course covers everything from cutting and measuring the tartan, to pleating, sewing and adding the final touches. You will gain a deep understanding of the process involved to creating an exquisite hand stitched kilt.

Access to Resources
I believe one of the keys to creating an exceptional kilt lies with the materials we use. From the finest 100% wool tartan purchased at our Scottish Woollen mills, the linen canvas we use, the buckles and straps, to even the thread we use to sew your kilt.
The tools I recommend will also help your holistic Kilt making journey.
Everything you need can be purchased from myself and will be discussed on your 1-1 call.
You will have access to the relevant paperwork to download and print off.
The video training is available to rewatch at your leisure through the course.

I understand that everyone has different commitments and we may be on opposite sides of the world, that's why my 12 week course is designed to be flexible, allowing you to learn around your own schedule. Whether you are a beginner or experienced sewer, my comprehensive video tutorials will ensure that you can follow along easily and make progress at your convenience.
We do schedule weekly zooms at a designated time that works around the group. You of course do not have to attend these, but it’s a great learning experience and recommended for maximum training and support.
